Prospective Parents,

Thank you for your interest in Creative School at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. For more than 60 years, we have educated children and served Dallas families. Through our exceptional preschool program for children 2 years of age through prekindergarten 4s, our school offers a warm and caring environment that encourages children to grow, discover and learn.

Our program runs from September through mid-May and operates from 9 am until 12 noon. As educators, our curriculum is designed with the developmental ages of children in mind. Our school day includes weekly children’s Chapel, Music and Movement enrichment, Library, and Spanish for older classes. An optional extended program is available both in the morning, beginning at 8 a.m., and for Lunch Bunch until 2 p.m.

Online you will find the Application for enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year. An admissions calendar of pertinent dates is included. Please review the information in order to complete the process. There is an overview of our classes including class sizes, ratios, and tution schedule. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our school or the registration process.

We look forward to meeting you!

The Creative School is a non-profit school and a ministry of  Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. Educating children in north Dallas for over 50 years, we offer programs for children from 2 years of age through Prekindergarden 4s. We operate on a 9 month calendar, September – May.

Our morning preschool hours are 9 A.M.  – 12 noon with an optional extended program until 2 pm. We provide a secure and Christian environment that encourages children to learn and grow.

Our preschool curriculum is developmentally appropriate and addresses all areas of early childhood development including: literacy, math, science, art and fine motor. Enrichment classes include Music and Movement, Spanish, and Library. Our older children also attend a weekly chapel service.
