Your child’s faith development is addressed in weekly Chapel experiences. These are held in the main sanctuary on Mondays and Tuesdays. The pastoral staff of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church, along with Creative School Director Pam Douce lead Chapel Time.

Each month features a specific theme of spiritual formation. Two or three songs are used repeatedly throughout the month so the children learn them well. Each week a different Bible verse, related to the theme, is introduced.

Rev. Ben Shinn, Senior Pastor; Mahlon Hight, Director of Children’s Ministries; and Rev. Jo Biggerstaff, Associate Pastor participate in Chapel leadership on a rotating basis. Occasionally Mrs. Lyndel Doran, Creative School Director, leads Chapel Time.

Parents are always welcome to attend Chapel Time, either at 11:30 am on Mondays or at 9:30 am on Tuesdays.
