Creative movement class is attended by all our children Monday - Thursday. Our experienced instructors, Barbara Guckenheimer and Jill Hanrahan direct the children in a nurturing environment-full of energy, music, dancing, imagination, and playful joy.

Exposure to music has been proven by research to benefit children by:

• Nurturing imagination and creativity.
• Creating an learning environment that integrates music, expressive language, peer interaction and pretend play.
• Challenging through activities that promote problem-solving, making choices and expressing ideas.
• Allows your child to have an active role in the development of music and movement activities.
• Ms. Barbara and Ms. Jill have a quarterly newsletter that focuses on an aspect of the Music and Movement class. This quarter discusses the importance of movement to promote healthy development of your child’s brain. Their focus is the benefits of crossing the “midline” to promote bilateral brain
